Family Pictures

One of the most easy going family shoots I've ever had, seriously. Such fun loving kids, so well behaved and knew just what to do!! It was a rainy cloudy day, but perfect for a few fun shots inbetween the funky weather we have been having lately. Aren't they a a cute family. :)

Morning drive, took little G and I through some pretty cool neighborhoods in Surprise

West of 303.

Then I wrapped around and headed to get Hannah from Preschool when I stopped here at this

old house.

Looks like it was a place of business too. I would love to know the story behind this place!

Once again another fab photo shoot!! Had a great time snappin pics of this family! Their kids are so adorable! The boys with their big brown eyes and little miss Jane and her sweet blue eyes, watch out they will melt ya!! Really can it get any more cute! I was so glad to go somewhere different again and snap away! It was an easy shoot with such a cute family!! Mud, bubbles and corn fields.....more pics to come

Thank you for FEEDBACK!

I was emailed this just a little while ago and I must say it MADE my DAY. (the comment below) Now understand this if you will, as you know I don't have a boss, cheer leading team or supervisor so to speak to turn to and get advice from daily. Yes, I do get some feedback from my friends, some family and mostly clients and always from my dear sweet husband, (thank you babe) but I must say I do have days I wonder why am I even wasting my time, seriously should I even continue? People can be cruel and hurtful just by not saying anything at all and that gets me down. Why wouldn't you want to help build someone up if you think they are doing a good job? It's my personality to "need" positive feedback to continue to grow. I guess that's just who I am. I often see this "competition" among other photographers they won't share information, locations and or photoshop/editing tricks. Stupid. That's just my opinion. I am SO grateful for those who love to share tips and tricks. I guess I'm a teacher at heart and love to share what I know and learn from others who have the expertise and experience! I understand each person has a style and that it should be that way. I respect people wanting to hold onto that style and their way of photographing, but give me a break, I'd be glad to teach someone "HOW" I did it, "WHERE" I went. So just in case you are wondering, if you ever want to know "how to" please don't hesitate to ask.

So back to the reason I'm posting this....I got wonderful compliment from a family member of a client I recently shot and it was this:

"The pictures are very classical! The photographer really know how to bring out the best!

&

I am in Awe of the pictures. You guys make an incredibly handsome family! Even Zoe behaved and The look on Logans face as he takes care of his sister! OUTSTANDING!"

How nice was that!!! This is what keeps me going.....that I can turn something into a wonderful piece of art they will cherish for a lifetime.

I'm still learning with each shoot. I'm not the BEST out there. I love what I do and I want to do EVEN better each session. I want to take a million classes and workshops to be "MY" very best..... :)

SO---Thank you for those of you who encourage me, whether it's here on my photo blog, in person or on Facebook Fan page, your comments and remarks keep me motivated to strive to do my very best each day, I would have threw the towel in long ago if it wasn't for you.

I had a great time with their shoot. Getting to know them, laugh and take our time shooting just the two of them. I think couples, engagements and small fry's are my favorite types of photo's shoots! Capturing the "real" shots, fun moments and natural stuff is so fun.

Great memories.

Cold and beautiful.

We only have a handful of photo's together and this is one of them.

Good times.

But of course.......

I was able to design this one and liked it even better than the other three below, I will be ordering these....and the TREE one from below. Since I get them for FREE why not, right?!
